An emergency food basket with wheat, split peas, cooking oil, and more can feed a family during the difficult dry seasons. $243 provides a library for vulnerable students! - Books are a limited resource in most of the schools where FH works. Providing books for students greatly increases their reading comprehension, critical thinking skills, and develops their desire to continue learning. $1,300 builds a latrine - A community latrine can serve more than 200 people each day, ensuring that water systems are free from human waste and families are healthy. Diseases like cholera and typhoid can spread without these essential latrines. $3,343 buys a water well for an entire community! - A water well is a life-changing gift for vulnerable families.
